I've been home a week now from my wonderful art experience in Taos, NM with Gwen Fox and 13 other wonderful people who I spent 5 days painting with. Each one whether a novice or a veteran had a new and exciting take on everything we were learning and I was able to grow just by watching and listening and seeing all the excitement in each person. Walking to class each morning helped me realize just what a wonderful place this is that God created, the quiet streets of Taos early in the morning and the muted sounds of nature gave me a feeling of peace and inspired me each day. Painting now has become a joy again and as I fill my studio with music, my paint brush just seems to move over the canvas effortlessly with new direction and inspiration. What I used to agonize over and would take weeks to complete, now takes shape and finds meaning in only days. With new inspiration just pouring out of me, I will have a new series completed in a few weeks. Gwen, if you are reading this ........Thank you.
